The trailer was pre-animated, meaning any scene shown there was only animated for the trailer, not to be included in the series. Rewatch the trailer, and you'll see all the scenes that already happened in the series look very different from the trailer.

I only hope that if they make a movie, they release it in Crunchyroll and theatres at the same time. I don't want to wait 6 months until they finally release the Blu Ray.

It will probably be (i hope) a 9 episode part 2 with the current pacing of 2 chapters per episode, and what has been leaked, the 16 episodes will cover up to chapter 122, which means that part 2 will have 9 episodes which is perfectly fine because that's the same length as season 3 part 2 and it gives time for the director not to rush things

Yes guys it's been officially confirmed from aot Twitter that s4 part1 will only include 16 episodes adopted till ch 122,mappa has already confirmed they'll adopt the whole Manga till the end bt the fate of the rest is yet to be declared though there are rumors there'd be a part 2 or a movie, no confirmation for the rest yet so we should likely wait for p1 to end

We can be sure that the anime won't create a different ending for the story because the director himself said they still have no idea how it will end

I mean, Hajime Isayama is keeping the finale in total secrecy, he hasn't even shared it with the anime creators. I'm pretty sure as soon as he finishes it he will start working on the anime.

But I thought they had a basic view on the ending but not the perfect view.

I’m almost certain that there will be more episodes. Isayama (I think that’s how you spell his name), said something about how he didn’t like Game Of Thrones Season 8, probably due to how rushed it was. I’m pretty sure this foreshadows that he wouldn’t want to end the show so soon, so we can likely assume that at least another eight episodes or a movie will be made later this year or next year. But at this point there’s still nothing confirmed, so we can’t jump to conclusions yet.
