Summary

In an alternate universe, Sasha and Jean are a married couple. Sasha is standing beside a river. Originally planning on washing laundry, she decides to cast her fishing rod. Sasha is astonished when she reels in a giant peach. She immediately rushes home with the peach. At home she begins to carve the peach as Jean watches closely. Shocked at discovering a boy inside of the peach, Sasha drops the knife. Jean yells at her to quickly cut the boy free. Holding the boy, Sasha wonders if he is a gift from the gods. Jean remarks that maybe they should raise the boy. Distracted by the close peach, Sasha begins eating it, sickening Jean.

Many years later, the boy, now known as Momotaro, is now taller than both of his adopted grandparents. One day, Momotaro is stunned to see Jean, his grandfather, injured. Momotaro's grandmother, Sasha, explains that Jean was injured by an ogre on an island. Sasha explains to her shocked grandson that the ogre's name is Eren. Momotaro volunteers to avenge Jean. Sasha presents Momotaro with a dumpling incase he gets hungry on his journey. Jean asks Sasha if there is any more dumplings, and Sasha explains to Momotaro that she taste-tested the others. Jean and Momotaro are not surprised.

On his journey, Momotaro is accosted by three creatures: a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant. They offer to help in exchange for dumplings. Momotaro explains that he has only one dumpling, so the three creatures begin debating which one of them should have it. Momotaro leaves ahead of them, knowing that their debate is going to take awhile. Eventually, the three catch up with Momotaro and tell him that they ended up splitting it evenly amongst themselves. The group of four travels by boat to the island, where the ogre named Eren lives. Once they reach the store, Momotaro's three acquaintances refuse to go any further, stating that they have already burned off the calories of the dumpling. They leave in the boat, stranding Momotaro.

Momotaro draws his sword and declares that he is challenging Eren to a duel. Eren appears from behind a bush and asks if Momotaro is Jean's son. Momotaro retorts by asking if Eren is the ogre and prepares to kill him. Eren mocks Momotaro's sashimono, asking if Jean drew the peach on it. Momotaro says that he won't allow Eren to make fun of Jean. Momotaro then remembers how he only let Jean draw it because he saw how it made Jean happy. Eren apologizes for fighting with Jean, saying that it started over something silly. Eren then says that his friends already chastised him for fighting. Two ogres, Mikasa and Armin, watch Eren from behind a bush. Armin hands Eren a bag, which Eren passes on to Momotaro. Eren asks Momotaro to give the gift to Jean as an apology. Momotaro thanks Eren for the gift.

Back at home, Jean opens the gift to find two carrots and a note, as Momotaro and Sasha watch. In the note Eren says that he is sorry for their fight. The note also implies that Jean is a horse and that he has to eat the carrots. Jean is amused by the gift and considers how to get back at Eren. Momotaro is bewildered that Jean and Eren's relationship wasn't as hostile as he had originally thought.
