Attack on Titan: Before the Fall 2 (進撃の巨人 Before the fall 2 Shingeki no Kyojin Before the Fall 2?) is the second of three light novels, in the Attack on Titan: Before the Fall novel series. It is written by Ryō Suzukaze and illustrated by Thores Shibamoto. It was given an English release by Vertical in May of 2015 as a compilation novel titled Attack on Titan: Kuklo Unbound.
The novel along with the other Before the Fall novels would later be adapted into a manga series by Satoshi Shiki.
Fifteen years after Mammon's attack on Shiganshina District, the "Titan's Son" Kuklo desires to free himself from his captivity and from the burden of being known as the Titan's Son. With the help of Sharle Inocencio, Kuklo sets out to see a Titan for himself as proof that he himself is truly not one of them.
- In the English compilation publication of Attack on Titan: Before the Fall 2 and Attack on Titan: Before the Fall 3 titled "Attack on Titan: Kuklo Unbound," the epilogue of the second novel was redesignated as "Intermission" due to the immediate continuation of the story.
