Yeah Isayama is clearly out of touch with the audience at times & is supposedly rushing the series toward a conclusion. I mean most of the fans prefer the manga pacing & were expecting at least 24 episodes this season, I had hopes for 25 episodes personally. We really got cheated out of an episode or 2 during the "Uprising" or "War Within the Walls" Arc. We also probably should have gotten 1 more episode during the Return to Shiganshina Arc.
Reiner getting back up during the fight with the Colossal Titan was almost entirely glossed over by the anime. Much like how Kruger's conversation with Grisha was shortened by the anime. I may end up making a blog over how I feel Season 3 should have been on here if it's allowed, explaining how the manga should have been split into episodes.
Personally I think it's a bit too soon for the 4th & Final Season, seeing how manga chapters are released monthly. We're probably in for a rushed conclusion for the series if it comes out next year. I remember back when the Return to Shiganshina Arc concluded thinking the manga was only about half over at that point. Although the content that would go into that 4th & final season feels heavily rushed even in the manga. Do you guys think Isayama is just tired of making Attack on Titan chapters each month?
