Red Swan is the 4th opening theme of the Attack on Titan anime, and is performed by songwriter Yoshiki of X Japan and features the singer Hyde of L'Arc-en-Ciel.[1]
It replaced Opfert eure Herzen! starting with Episode 38 and was replaced by Shoukei to Shikabane no Michi in Episode 50.

Opening animation
Eren soars through the air with his omni-directional mobility gear. On top of the roof of a building, Mikasa looks behind and sees Eren after landing on top of the same building. Armin sits on top of the roof. His eyes remain closed until he gets up and stands beside Mikasa. Mikasa reaches her hand. Young Eren, Armin, and Mikasa smile happily on top of a roof, before showing the previous scene as their older counterparts gaze up at the sky.
A flashback of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin in their childhood appears as Levi looks over his shoulder. An image of young Eren, Mikasa and Armin walking together is shown which shortly changes to the three walking as recruits of the Scout Regiment.
Levi as a child leans against a wall while in the underground below the capital. He gets off the wall and wanders around the place. A younger Kenny sits at a bar. Young Levi flips a knife and Kenny touches his hat while watching him at the bar.
Erwin gazes through a window and sees an image of himself as a child and his father talking to each other. Young Historia sits in front of Frieda Reiss at a farmyard.
An image of Eren appears on the blue sky while a translucent hand appears in front of him. The image switches to Mikasa and the ghostly hand tries to reach for her. As Armin appears on the sky, the hand starts bleeding, then clenches its fist. A small drop of water lands on top of a body of water and ripples the water as an image of Grisha and Carla appear caressing Eren as an infant. The animation switches to Eren's old home.
Eren stands below the sky as younger Eren bumps into him. Young Eren looks at his older self for a time before running with little Armin and Mikasa behind him. Eren watches their younger selves run into the distance with a stern expression on his face. The four Warriors as children wander through the woods. Historia as a child leans on a fence. Young Eren and his friends are running while on the sky when Mikasa's sandal flies from her foot. Young Erwin and Levi walk pass each other. Mikasa's sandal drops onto the ground and the key to Eren's house's basement dangles.
The song concludes with an image of young Eren, Armin, and Mikasa happy together.
