Atop of a cliff, Mod regains consciousness, unsure if he is dreaming or not. The druidess of his tribe is by his side but gives him elusive answers. Near them, there is a screaming baby-like Titan. Mod begins to believe he has become crazy but the druidess manages to make him remember what happened a week ago. Mod was on the very same spot with a few men of his tribe, observing eleven Titans who had reached their land and were trying to reach the top of the cliff. As he was worried Titans might use the steps, Grum assured him it was too narrow for them. The other men were preparing the rituals for Titan slaughter, much to Mod's annoyance. He also recalls killing a whale some time before and ordering his men to leave its corpse on the beach, where Titans usually arrive. They procced to drop blood bags from the cliff and they land on the whales's corpse, which lurs Titans there. As they are now gathered and begin to devour the dead whale, Mod shots a flamed arrow and manages to kill them all.

The group gets back to their village and is greeted by the druidess. Back in the present time, the druidess reproaches Mod his lack of interest in Titans' behaviour, as the young chief only cares about the way they can be killed.

After getting it, he gets back home and meets Greti, who is pregnant and complains about his lack of investment in house chores. He ignores her, take the divine and takes a nap, much to the woman's dismay. Then suddenly she hears screams and rushes outside to see what is going on.

Several villagers have been crushed to death and lie on the ground. Mod, about to fall asleep due to the devine, ignores the situation and demands not to be bothered. Greti gets out her home and tell the villagers to help the druidess getting out the weapon to kill the Titan. Mod, still hazy, witnesses what is happening but barely reacts. Meanwhile, his people gather the bombs and the blood needed. Led by the druidess, an archer is ready to fire an arrow but the Titan suddenly destroys the building next to them. The druidess is is badly injured on the face and Mod vomits. Noticing the Titan is now heading to the village nursery, Greti takes several fireworks. After screaming the traditional words before killing a Titan, she tells Mod, who had taken his bow and lit his arrow, not to miss his shot. Unfortunately he does not and Greti is killed, but her lover barely shows concern.

Back in the present, Mod recalls the disaster while the druidess tells him the tribe had to wander in the woods and now despised him. She adds that they tried two times to reach the cliffs, to no avail. Mod begins to acknowledge it but the druidess scolds him for not respecting the rituals, as the situation became a nightmare because of this. She teaches him once Titans get out of the sea, they do not stay there and wander until they reach places with beaches, which could lead to the fall of Albion.

There is a cliff in Albion named Dover, which the tribe featured gets its name from.
  • The title of the story and the blessing screamed before killing a Titan, Fee Fie Foh Fum! I smell the blood of an Englishman! are references to "Jack and the Beanstalk".
