The Finger family (フィンガー家 Fingā-ke?) is an Eldian family that used to live under the rule of Marley in Liberio.
History[]
While Finger was attained by a grave illness, his daughter selflessly volunteered herself to join the Warrior Unit and succeeded in earning the right to inherit the Cart Titan, this managed to save his life by providing him the necessary medicaments. However, he expressed his distress and despair by his daughter's sacrifice and foreseeable death by the Curse of Ymir.
Story[]
Clash of the Titans arc[]
Five years into the mission to reclaim the Founding Titan, Pieck journeys to Paradis Island with Zeke Yeager and a contingent of Marleyan soldiers, using her Cart Titan to carry supplies for them. She is present as Zeke and the soldiers transform the inhabitants of a small village into Titans.[1]
Return to Shiganshina arc[]
Pieck is present at the Battle of Shiganshina District in her Cart Titan form, acting as a lookout for the other Warriors, carrying Bertolt in a barrel on her back,[2] and saving Zeke and Reiner from being killed by the Survey Corps.[3][4]
Marley arc[]
After returning to Liberio from the Marley Mid-East War, Pieck is happily greeted by her father.[5]
During the Survey Corps' Raid on Liberio, Pieck is trapped in a pit with Galliard by a mysterious soldier.[6] After escaping, she recognizes the sound of vertical maneuvering gear.[7] Later, when entering the battle, Pieck is severely injured by Thunder Spears and is forced to retreat.[8]
War for Paradis arc[]
Pieck infiltrates Paradis Island and confronts Eren Yeager, claiming that she wants to defeat Marley. This was a ploy to lead Eren into a trap, and he is ambushed by the Marleyan military, as well as the Armored and Jaw Titans.[9]
Once Eren and Zeke activate the Rumbling, Pieck, Reiner and Magath ally with the Survey Corps in order to stop Eren and the Yeagerists.[10]
Once the Rumbling reaches Marley, Finger and many other Eldians in Liberio force a Marleyan soldier to take them by train to Fort Salta so they can escape by airship. While on the train, he responds to the suggestion of a fellow Eldian to remove his armband, fondly remembering his daughter's sacrifice for his sake.[11] When they arrive at Fort Salta, they see Pieck and the rest of her allies fighting Eren's Founding Titan.[12]
When the Source emits a strange gas, Pieck is forced to leave her father behind as he transforms into a Pure Titan.[13]
After the Battle of Heaven and Earth, Finger transforms back into a human, and Pieck is among the survivors who become ambassadors for peace on Paradis.[14]
