Gordon (ゴードン Gōdon^?) was a recruit (新兵 Shinpei^?) of the Survey Corps who joined after the crowning of Historia Reiss at some point during the two months between the attack at Orvud District and the return to Shiganshina District, where he was assigned to Squad Klaus.

Appearance

Gordon was a fairly tall man with an average build and a defined jaw line. He had short, black hair that was cropped at the sides and combed forward. After joining the Survey Corps, Gordon wore the standard uniform of the regiment.

Story

Royal Government arc

During the feast before the expedition to Shiganshina District, Gordon accompanies Floch Forster as he rhetorically asks Jean Kirstein if 104th recruits and former Garrison members such as himself and his friends are that unreliable.^[2]

Return to Shiganshina arc

Gordon is seen cowering with Floch and Sandra after learning that all of the Survey Corps' veterans have been killed. He and his fellow recruits are brought to attention by Erwin, who announces his plan to lead a suicide charge against the Beast Titan. Despite Gordon's horror at the idea, he accompanies his fellow soldiers in the attack.^[3] He, alongside many of his fellow soldiers, is killed during the charge by the Beast Titan's projectiles.^[4]

Trivia

Gordon shares a birthday with Yeager.
The name "Gordon" is Scottish in origin, meaning "fort."
