In other words, Mikasa you should become mother, friend, everything to him! Make it so that he will never need anyone or anything else!
High Heat Makes Good Fried Rice (チャーハンのコツは火力Chāhan no Kotsu wa Karyoku?) is the 9th and final chapter of the 4th volume and the 32nd chapter overall of the Attack on Titan: Junior High manga, written and illustrated by Saki Nakagawa.
Mikasa expresses her disappointment that Eren remains obsessed with fighting Titans. Sasha suggests that Mikasa change herself in order to get Eren's attention so he will focus on her and nothing else.
Summary
Mikasa prepares some rice for the Cooking Club
During a picnic with several classmates, Mikasa becomes disappointed when Eren runs off after a nearby Titan. Sasha tells her that to change Eren, she must first change herself. She takes Mikasa to the cooking club, where Nanaba allows Sasha to peel some potatoes; she becomes amazed by how quickly Mikasa chopped, steamed and prepared some rice, earning the approval of both Mike and Gelgar.
Mikasa asks Eren to train with her
Applauding how Mikasa has mastered cooking, Sasha then has them decide how to catch Eren's attention and goes to Krista for advice. Both Krista and Sasha are at a loss on what to do and advise that Mikasa just be honest about her intentions and tell Eren how she feels. This leads to her going to Eren and asking him to be her training partner; despite Eren agreeing, he quickly becomes exhausted. As Mikasa apologizes for pushing him, Eren is confident that he can do better and decides to keep going.
The official English translation of the 2nd volume of the Attack on Titan: Junior High manga titles this chapter as the 31st chapter, when in fact, it is the 32nd.
