I Love Cats (猫だいすき Neko Daisuki?) is the 23rd chapter of the 2nd volume and the 50th chapter overall of the Spoof on Titan manga, written and illustrated by hounori.

Overview

Krista convinces Ymir to help her take care of an injured cat.

Summary

Ymir hears Krista's stomach rumble and confronts her about it, but Reiner pretends that it was his stomach instead. Armin says that the sound was the grinding of his teeth; Jean says that it was his leg going restless; and Connie wonders aloud if he should play along by pretending that the sound was a fart. However, Krista tells them that she does not care if everyone knows that the sound came from her stomach.

Ymir, now suspicious, asks if she hid a loaf of bread again the same way she once did to feed Sasha and adds that it seems like Krista is feeding a secret pet. Suddenly, Krista shows Ymir a pet cat, and Ymir gets angry, threatening to throw it out. However, Krista begs her not to because its leg is injured, so she wants to cure it before letting it leave. Ymir is swayed to let it stay when Krista tells her that its eyes remind her of hers. Later, Eren sees Ymir taking care of the cat on her own.

On another day, Sasha asks Krista about the cat’s name. Learning that it has not been named yet, Ymir suggests they call it "Bread," since they feed it bread all the time. However, Sasha thinks it is a bad idea because the name makes her hungry.

Armin does not finish his bread because of a stomachache. Sasha is about to ask for it, but Armin decides to give it to the cat instead. As Sasha watches it eat, she tells it to stay healthy and grow up nice and juicy, alarming Krista upon hearing her.

When the cat’s leg heals, Krista and the others bid it goodbye as it runs away. Krista is upset that the cat had to leave and wishes that they could have kept it. The others agree, but they think otherwise the moment Krista disappears, revealing their cat scratches and wounds.
