Kubal would later take part in the Military Police operation that resulted in the deaths of Eren and Shikishima's parents; unbeknownst to anyone, Kubal would also acquire the powers of the Colossal Titan through unknown means.

Before the Garrison Regiment can react, his Titan form disappears in a burst of steam.
