Luke Cis (ルーク・シス Rūku Shisu^?) was a skilled member of the Scout Regiment and a participant during the 57th Exterior Scouting Mission outside Walls.

Appearance

Cis had chin-length, straight brown hair tied back in a ponytail and hazel eyes. He wore the typical Scout Regiment uniform.

Story

Eve of the Counterattack arc

Cis helps Dieter Ness give out uniforms to the Scout Regiment's new recruits after they arrive at the Scouts' HQ.^[1]

The 57th Exterior Scouting Mission arc

During the 57th Exterior Scouting Mission, Cis works with Ness to take down an Abnormal Titan. Ness takes out the Titan's ankles and Cis skillfully destroys the Titan's nape as it falls. Almost immediately after, another Titan appears. Following Ness' lead again, Cis tries to strike at the Titan, but it intercepts and crushes him effortlessly.^[2]

Legacy

Return to Shiganshina arc

During the Battle of Shiganshina, as Erwin Smith begins to lament the dwindling hopes of his dream, Cis stands among the many fallen Scout Regiment comrades in Erwin's mind, wanting to know if their deaths had meaning.^[3]

War for Paradis arc

When Hange decides to oppose Eren's plan to destroy the world beyond the Walls, Cis is one of the soldiers remembered while Hange tries to convince Jean and Mikasa that their fallen comrades would not support destroying the world.^[4]
