Mathias Kramer (マティアス・クラマー Matiasu Kuramā^?) is one of the two protagonists of Attack on Titan: The Harsh Mistress of the City, Part 1 and Attack on Titan: The Harsh Mistress of the City, Part 2, along with Rita Iglehaut. He is the son of Jörg Kramer and a resident of Fuerth District.

Appearance

Mathias has dark hair and eyes. He is described to have a slightly broad forehead and gentle features, yet always looks troubled. He wears a vest above a white blouse.

Personality

Mathias is very polite and dutiful for a person his age, due to his upbringing as the heir to the Kramer Merchant Association. Aside from Rita Iglehaut he did not grow up with children his age. Mathias was taught to always be considerate, even when dealing with people in the laboring class, and instilled with a sense of duty to look after and consider the feelings of those less fortunate.

Though he likes Rita, he is forward thinking enough to realize that such a relationship would never work because as his father's heir he would be required to marry someone who would advance their business.
