Should "Tomas eaten.jpg" be deleted? There is another image ("Thomas' demise.png") which serves nearly the same exact purpose and is of higher quality. Additionally, the only page it is on is Thomas's image gallery.
Sannes never appears in the actual Chibi Theater series (which centers around the cadets). However, he does appear in the Chimi Chara illustrations. Because he doesn't actually appear in the series, should his Chibi Theater page be deleted?
He appears in the new Chibi Theater segments included in the first Blu-Ray of Season 3—that are literally just the 4-panel comics with a bit of animation, Wit really didn't put any effort in them this time...
Would this be an acceptable replacement for Beirer's current profile picture, which is pretty blurry? Since I couldn't capture any "good" ones from the two episodes he's featured in, I decided to snip his face out of the picture below (in the article).
There was a debate on the Discord server whether that soldier is Beirer or not. It last ended off on an indecisive point and the info from S2 was kept on the likely chance the two soldiers are the same.
For the image, indeed it's better, but updating to it should be held off until that uncertainty is cleared.
I was on Eren's anime page and under his Titan abilities it mentioned nothing about his anime only Berserker mode. I understand that it's not canon but the page is exclusively for the Anime version of Eren Jaeger. sooo is it like some kind of taboo to mention it?
Hi, and yes ofc. You see it mostly depends on the video's resolution, and then the screenshot method. My video player is MPC and I just use its default, built-in screenshot feature. That's it, 'fraid there's no secret to it. :P
Of course, didn't even consider the video resolution, thought it was my method of getting them. Presumably DVD’s would yield the best images to illustrate artwork, character views, the world and so forth? The screenshot method, I’m just pressing screenshot on the computer, are there other ways? The example I’m thinking of has a title of “Vlc snap” that has managed to get a 320 x 185 taller image that fills more of the available space. Would using this program or something like it get the best images?
Using the prt sc button basically just captures the resolution of your monitor, not the video's. That seems to be the standard way, since most people stream. I'm not familiar with VLC, but that does sound similar enough to the snap feature of the MPC player.
Oh I see, I think the issue I have is the video has black areas above and below the recording, but not sure if this is my screen resolution or that’s the actual episode format. How would you screenshot the video itself if the screen resolution differs?
Yes I think you’re right about the VLC thing, the slightly larger image height of the VLC images could in fact be the monitor resolution or something. It’s a difference of like 5 pixels to the height of an image that’s haunting me, isn’t it great?!
Good idea, thank you for your sound tips, the image with the higher pixel count, size and actual file size (doubt compactness would be an issue) would be the one. Then of course even the largest ones, like this Seraph of the End example is a huge file, but condensed to fit the box anyway. Still, whichever best displays the art work at hand, thank you for your help in this matter : )
I would like to update several articles regarding the new information revealed in the Chapter 101. Why can't we update the pages when the chapter is already out? Why is it necessary to wait for Amazon Kindle and the others, when the chapter is already out in Japan?
Hi. Since the chapter is not officially out, these informations are regarded as spoilers. Not everyone can or want to read it before its official relase, so we just wait until the date to be fair. This is stipulated in our spoiler policies. Hope this answers your question, and happy editing.
Then go to the image, click "edit", then click on "Source" (next to "Visual"), and paste the clean template, then fill the blanks (description, chapter, page number etc) like what's shown in the "Examples" section on the link.
Then you can add a category of whoever appears on the image, on the "Add category..." field, just type in a character's name and select the appropriate category from the list.
All images on the wiki can be replaced by going to the image and hovering over the drop down menu next to "Edit" button and clicking "Replace". The new image also has to be of the same format as the previous one.
