It is hardly important whatsoever. If we listed minor facts like that, the trivia would both be boring and far too long.
To be honest, the main issue, other than the grammar / spelling, was the second trivia piece stating many fans believe Levi will become a Titan. Fan theories, particularly those that are unsubstantiated (and known to be incorrect) don't belong in articles.
Overall avoid adding useless/speculative information to articles, and make double sure that the information and grammar are correct. Avoid removing existing information as well. I invite you to read our Manual of Style for a more in-depth explanation on the standards we expect from edits.
The thing is, if that counts as trivia it opens up a can of worms. If we're doing the Ackerman family, why not how Historia has the shortest known height in hers, or that Bertolt is the tallest Warrior, and Annie is the shortest. If we're doing height, why not weight etc. That's not even really a slippery slope fallacy, because they're all on the same level of relevance.
Quote from our editing rules: "Quantity does not mean quality, and not every detail is important. Articles should be written focused on the topic in question, extracting the relevant facts and avoiding unnecessary and unrelated information."
Don't feel discouraged, just please try to make sure you meet this rule (and the others in the article Manuel linked) next time you edit. Really, the main takeaways are what he said.
I just thought it would be important so that if two people were talking about the series’s they could just open up the wiki and see the physical characteristics of each main character without having to go through much trouble
Check the Trivia section for the other characters in the manga/anime and it'll give you a good idea as to what information we consider as necessary to be added in Trivia. Basic biological information is present in the character's infoboxes and as Kemono mentioned, it'll open up a can of worms and it can't just be done for main/frequent characters as that'll count as an inconsistency.
If you have plenty of time, there are a lot of other areas you can work on and improve the quality of the Wiki.
Also I should note that those facts are incorrect because we don't know the stats of all cadets, so it's perfectly possible that there were cadets taller than Bertolt, heavier than Mikasa, etc. This reduces the scope to only the cadets with stats revealed which makes the fact even less relevant.
Sorry Manuel I meant out of the cadets in the top 10 I agree it’s easily possible for another cadet who isn’t relevant to the plot to be taller or heavier, however I meant that her height and build are not that of someone who weights 68kg
Ah man, I don't think the Staff is gonna agree to this idea at all as it creates more problems than it solves. You might as well drop it.
I'm sure you can be of great help to the Wiki as many other articles are lacking in various fields. Be sure to read the Manual of Style thoroughly before making edits and keep an eye on the Wiki Activity.
Er... what? I’ll reply seriously, because I’m pretty sure you were actually annoyed, what with taking two talk pages.
I was simply suprised that an obvious mistake slipped under our radar for over 2 months.
If anything, I was suprised that I missed it myself, as I’ve done quite a bit of work on the article personally.
You don’t need to take offense lol, I wasn’t even being rude. For the record though, thanks for pointing her status out, but please be less hostile in the future (if you were serious).
Since you have been a great contributor to the wiki for a long time, the Wiki Staff has approved your promotion to Rollbacker. Now you'll be able to see a "rollback" button next to each edit in the Wiki Activity and Recent Changes that allows you to revert vandalism easily (more information here).
This also makes you part of the Wiki Staff and we'll appreciate your opinions when a consensus is required or simply whenever you have some feedback to share. You may like to take a look at our private channel for Staff on the Discord server.
Originally, birthdays were only kept in their own calendar, but we would frequently forget about them so they were eventually included in the main one as well. You can take the calendar of birthdays as an archive of the dates and the main calendar as the current schedule. I assume if we ever add other side calendars they would work the same way. :)
A little early but I don't know if I'll be around tomorrow so I thought it was better to do it now rather than being late, lol. I wish you have a happy birthday, and Merry Christmas too (is your birthday really on Christmas though? xP).
And thank you for all your contributions —including fixing the typos I slip from time to time. xD
It's the English volume version, and I removed the text. I'm still looking for a way to get the japanese volume version without buying it on amazon.jp (I mean, I've already bought the English version).
