I've just become a recent member of the wiki, but I remember checking back several years prior, there were articles about other pure titans such as the gluttonous titan, the bigmouth titan, and the bearded titan, to name a few. What, if I may ask, happened to them?
Those pages were removed as part of a clean-up of characters who have not been acknowledged in any official material. That is why the Peering Titan and Talking Titan remain, but the others do not. If they are ever given official names or are given a profile in a book then they'll be added back to the wiki.
Hii nice too meet you. I have someone who I have talk to for a while I am doing this out of pity for him and well I don t want to get involve in this but forgive me I can t help but feel pity so He want me to send you this message
This message from Sunwarrior guy I just copy and paste what he said.
All I ask is that he be made aware that I've tried responding to his message. Tell him I accept his terms but he needs to follow through on what he said to me, I am prepared to "take the next step", I hope he will do the same. I mean he said "when I figure out how to reach him". So here I am trying to make that effort. I know he doesn't really trust me but he said what he said and I want him to know I took what he said very seriously.
Just tell him this was a request from SunWarriorAsahi. And tell him that I knew no other way to reach out to him. That's all I ask. Just explain to him that I took his message seriously. I want to have that dialogue. I doubt you'll get in trouble, this is between me and him, not you and him. He should understand that.
Haha not meant to get involve but I can t help feel pity. It kinda weird I am doing this. I just talk to him couple days ago or more than that but not even close too a month 😥😥
Ah, I see. I'll address that situation in time. In the meantime please don't forward me or other wiki members messages from blocked users, they're blocked for a reason, and using third parties as proxies to deliver messages defeats the purpose of the block. I know your intentions were good though, so thank you for that.
I know it's a little late to suggest this (in my defense, the idea only came to me recently), but would you be willing to take into consideration that, instead of considering all chapters post 106 to be one arc, we split them into two?
It makes perfect sense when you think about it. What I'm suggesting is that chapters 107-121 (or 122) encompass one arc, and 122- be another arc entirely. The first one we would call the Yeagerist Arc (or Yeager bros arc or Yeager Family arc, whichever), since that's pretty much what's the main theme there. Those chapters pretty much deal with Eren and Zeke, their presumed relationship and attempts to reach one another, and the Yeagerist faction loyal to them doing all kinds of crap in the meantime. Even when Marley attacked Shiganshina, those two remained the main theme, as half the battle was spent trying to stop them from coming into contact. Then, of course, the time spent in the paths realm speaks for itself. Hell, we even got Grisha added there, so perhaps The Yeager Family arc might be better.
The second one, obviously, we would either name the Rumbling arc or whatever comes to mind. Heck, this recent poll could very well be the deciding factor.
The fact is, if we try to encompass 107- into one arc, there simply isn't one overreaching theme, idea, or story aspect, except maybe freedom, but even if we choose that, it sort of neglects far too much of everything else.
I know what Isayama said, but that could be interpreted in many ways, especially since translation isn't perfect. He could've meant that we were reaching it, he could've meant that the end of the manga was near, or that he was currently in the process fleshing it out and everything up to it was already decided, ready to be drawn.
Please take this into serious consideration. I know we have a poll, but honestly, I'm not really satisfied with ANY suggestion, even the ones I offered and chose, simply because it feels none of them really get the idea across of what an arc name is supposed to be.
Thank you for letting me know your concerns. All chapters from 107 are the same arc. Isayama's interview in November 2018 mentioned that the final arc had already started, and this was around the release of Chapter 111.
Even if we don't take that into account, this arc doesn't work as two as per the division you're making. The first reason is that they'd be two arcs of uneven length, with the second part spanning only around 8-9 chapters (approximation assuming an ending around Chapter 130). No arc since —and including— The Female Titan arc has been shorter than 16-20 chapters.
The second reason is that none of the storylines in this arc function as standalone arcs, because they'd be left without closure. The conflict with the Yeagerists was still ongoing when Marley attacked, and members of the Marleyan military are still in the island as the Wall Titans advance. All events connect in succession, with no break between them or resolution to their plot points. They're all parts of a bigger event that's still in progress.
Finally, this arc does have an overarching theme, which is the struggle to decide the fate of Paradis: the Survey Corps want to make peace with the other nations; the Yeagerists want to turn it into the start of a new Eldian Empire; the foreign parties want to destroy it (with Zeke and Yelena via the euthanization, and Marley via military force); and Eren wants to leave it as the only inhabited land in the world. It all converges in the island and it's a battle to take control of it and of its future.
I understand your hesitations regarding the list of suggested names, but we've been discussing this for over a year and these terms are the best we've come up with, nothing guarantees that we'll find anything better if we keep dragging this out. The names you're suggesting here were already discussed at various stages of the process. At this point it's also highly improbable that it'll ever get an official title, but we can always rename it in the future if it does.
Hello Manuel you might remember me from awhile ago. We are having a problem with implementing a new template regarding the character boxes. How exactly does one make those boxes? To be clear I'm talking about the ones in the image below.
By pure curiosity, how do you know that he was a «sockpuppet» of SunWarriorAsahi? (If I got it right). Is it some special superpower of admins on fandom? (I'm an admin on another wikia, might be useful one day who knows)
Okay you obviously saw the argument and for that I apologize. But this is really getting out of hand, I do not mean to argue with Bruh but he is taking a lot of what I say extremely personally. I've tried to ask him to just ignore if he didn't like what I had to say, and this isn't the first time he insulted me on a thread I wrote. So please, can you tell this guy to just knock it off? I'm trying to be patient here. But this is ridiculous. I'm just here for chat and to shoot the breeze over opinions and such with each chapter. I did not come here for those theatrics.
On top of that, I have no desire to see another thread closed because of this Bruh guy. I would like to continue without further incident, if you could just keep this guy from getting all bent out of shape and from commenting on my posts? I mean I don't get whatever just happened there.
I went to do some edits on the main page for Eren Yeager on 09/09/19 and I noticed that in the source editor, the colored bars representing the files, reference citations and new sections are shifted down one row; I believe it starts in the unnamed arc in the paragraph that has the picture file of Eren generating the spikes to impale Reiner and Galliard; I noticed it was still there when I added in some citations earlier today.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed or reported this (or if my computer is just acting funny), but I figured I would let you know. It could just be a minor thing, but it is visually throwing me off.
I believe it's caused because the page is too long and the highlighter has problems processing the amount of information after that point. If instead of editing the whole page you edit only that section, the issue doesn't happen.
