It would be great to affiliate the Banana Fish wiki with the Attack on Titan wiki. A request was made here with an updated word mark though unfortunately I have not as of yet received a reply. Of course it is understandable if people are busy though there are excellent grounds for affiliating these two series, and I hope it is felt the same.
Hi, may I enquire if the Attack on Titan wiki is not currently taking new affiliates? I was informed that current ones are being reviewed. Whether the guidelines are being amended I hope you would share with me if there are other criteria the Banana Fish wiki should fulfil for the affiliation with the Attack on Titan wiki.
Since both series explore stark real world issues, and anything can and does happen story wise, those reasons and others are why I feel they are appropriate affiliates. I hope these polite requests are not misconstrued as a bother, as I say I just feel they have aspects in common as well as fulfilling the wiki selection side of things. That and of course since both series are special I am quite keen to affiliate these two wikis as I'm sure you can understand.
Hey :) I'm kinda new here, so please bear with me.
I wanted to ask why Rod and Kenny are still on the anime characters section on the main page, even thought they are both dead?
And on the manga section captain Magath is on... now I know this is war and you guys (the admins) wanted to present both sides... but why Magath? He is such a minor character! Can you please replace him with someone who has a little more... screen time?
Since Rod and Kenny are a part of the most recent story arc, we'll likely leave them there until Season 3 resumes in April. That way anyone looking to catch up on what they missed will find them for easy reference.
As for the manga section, we often have discussions on who to put up there as the story changes. :) Magath is considered one of the more impactful characters even though he's not an Eldian.
I don't recall the discussion for the current line-up, but I suspect he's there because he is the head of the Marleyan military and Willy specifically left him in that position. Anything involving the Warriors heading to Paradis is likely happening under his direction, which will make his decisions and leadership relevant in the coming chapters.
I checked and apparently two years ago, there was some vandalism so you moved the pages back but over a redirect (so that's why these exist). A user renamed the pages of Reiner and Sasha to "Chicken Nugget" and "Potato" respectively. "Potato" was deleted, but the other three pages weren't (that's including their two image galleries, links below).
Sorry for the late reply. We saw your message and were discussing about it; however we were reviewing our Affiliate Guidelines and decided to do an update requiring that our affiliate candidates meet a minimum requirement of 200 pages to ensure that we only affiliate with active communities with some history behind them. As of now your wiki has 40 pages, so you can apply again when you meet this amount.
Thank you for your interest in affiliating with us!
The name of the achievement being "He was a warrior who fought for humanity" being past-tense involves he no longer is, lending credence to the idea that he is dead. And that final scene is entirely irreconcilable with the cutscene where he sacrifices himself, as it is set in a different place, at a different time of day, so it's obviously not meant to be viewed as taking place after his sacrifice, or as any sort of confirmation that he is alive.
Maybe it's foreshadowing something or hinting that he may be alive.I'm still going to think they are still alive,I mean the upcoming episodes(dlc)could have more story with the character. But go ahead with what you have,i guess.
The 2 references that you mentioned only prove that Annie attracted many Titans near Shangashina and that Carla Yaeger was eaten by the Smiling Titan. But, I insist that they don't prove that Annie attracted the Smiling Titan near Shangashinah. I mean: Shangashina was a natural hub for the Waldians to attract the Titans, to trap and kill them. Thus, there were already many mindless Titans near Shangashina and the Smiling Titan could have been one them. Of course, the people were protected by the Wall. And Reiner and Bertolt destroyed the Wall, which resulted in many people eaten by Titans. Thus, even if the Female Titan hadn't cried, maybe the Smiling Titan would have killed Carla Yaeger anyway, or maybe not. But I insist: There is no proof that Annie is indirectly responsible for Carla Yaeger's death. Do you understand what I said?
Thus, I will delete the 2 references that you mentioned, since they are not references. Tell me if you agree or not, please.
Annie attracted Titans to Shiganshina as part of the Warriors' plan, and although there is a slight possibility that Dina was already near Shiganshina, there is no way to know for sure. All we know for sure is that Annie attracted a bunch of Titans to Shiganshina, meaning she is just as responsible for any deaths that occurred as Reiner and Bertolt are.
Regardless, even if an argument could be made that Annie isn't to blame for Carla's death, that would mean Carla's name should be removed from Annie's list of people killed, not that another reference template should be added.
You're wrong, there were already many Titans near Shangashinah, that was the Waldians' strategy to attract them near Shangashina, read the manga if you don't trust me. Annie can't be blamed for what those Titans did. So you cannot say that Annie is just as responsible for any deaths as were Reiner and Bertolt. She is responsible for a part of all the deaths but not for all deaths.
Also, Dina was an abnormal who seemed to be only interested by the Yaeger family. Read chapter 96, please. After all, she didn't eat Bertolt, didn't she? So, there is real possibility that Dina was already near Shangashina. Again, there is no way to know for sure that Annie attracted Dina near the Wall.
Thus, your argumentation is not convincing. It seems to me you don't like Annie at all (to say the least...). But of course, I will respect your authority. If you claim that Annie is indirectly responsible for Carla's death, I won't contest what you are saying.
Not that it's really my business (but then again, this should be on the Annie talk page anyway), but personally I think we should remove Carla from the section entirely. You sort of have a point, but there's no need for more references saying why the article is wrong.
Seriously though, there's no need to act hostile / elitist about the subject.
*edit: Looking at GKR's point, yep, it's definitely best to keep it identical.
When it comes to the victims of the Fall of Wall Maria, Annie's "Indirectly" section should be identical to Reiner's and Bertolt's. Her job was not only to gather the Titans, but also to escort the other Warriors to the Wall for the mission. Without that role, Reiner and Bertolt wouldn't be able to breach the Walls in the first place. All three Warriors worked together to complete their mission, and therefore they are all equally responsible for those who lost their lives due to their actions in the Fall.
Concerning the transportation, you have a point. So,finally, I agree that Annie is indirectly responsible in Carla's death.
But I disagree that Reiner, Bertolt and Annie are equally responsible for all those deaths. Reiner is the leader, and as the leader, he is the first responsible. Reiner indeed chose to be the leader and to force Annie to continue this mission. Thus, Reiner must take responsability for his leadership.
Also, since we finally agree that Annie is responsible for indirectly killing Carla Yaeger since without her help Reiner and Bertolt wouldn't have reached the Wall, then, Reiner is also responsible for indirectly killing the Levi Squad since without his help, Annie would not have found and killed the Levi Squad.
Thus, I think that Reiner's page should mention that Reiner is indirectly responsible for killing Squad Levi.
