Pechstein (ペッシュスタイン Pesshusutain?) was a noble and ruffian living in Shiganshina District.

Appearance

Pechstein had a long face with a broad nose. He also had long black hair that was partially kept back with a thin band along his forehead. He also had a small goatee on his chin.

Personality

Pechstein was an immoral ruffian who would prey upon young women with his friend Diedrich and associate Michael Pottering. He had no qualms about assaulting women in broad daylight and if others were nearby.

Out of the three, Pechstein was presumably the leader and main driving force; he was seen ordering Diedrich several times and complimenting how useful Michael's name is.

Story

Underground City arc

Pechstein gets wind that his associate Michael is smitten with a young noblewoman named Sharle Inocencio. Along with his friend Diedrich, Pechstein persuades Michael to invite her out and get her away from her brother. As the two drive past the headquarters of the Military Police, Pechstein and Diedrich stop the carriage and force themselves on Sharle. Pechstein comments that Michael can accomplish a lot with his name, calling him useful. As Diedrich greedily starts licking his lips, Pechstein orders him to wait until they are out of the open. As the carriage hits a bump, Sharle punches Diedrich in the groin and escapes out into the street; as Pechstein follows, Sharle stomps on his foot. They chase after her and try telling the MP guards that Sharle had an argument with their friend. As Diedrich gets bitten by Sharle, Pechstein raises his leg to kick her and yells that she needed to behave; the guards immediately get Pechstein and Diedrich on the ground. Gloria Bernhart comes out and has the two arrested and sends them for interrogation; Pechstein frantically tries to get his father summoned but to no avail.[1]

At some point, Sharle's brother Xavi hears what had happened and arranges for the two to be executed for trying to rape his sister.[2]
