Red Swan is the 4th opening theme of the Attack on Titan anime, and is performed by songwriter Yoshiki of X Japan and features the singer Hyde of L'Arc-en-Ciel.[1]
It replaced Opfert eure Herzen! starting with Episode 38.

Opening Animation
Eren soars through the air with his omni-directional mobility gear in Trost District. On top of the roof of a building in Trost Distrct, Mikasa looks behind and sees Eren on top of the same building. Armin sits on top of the roof. His eyes remains closed until he gets up and stands beside Mikasa. Mikasa reaches her hand. A quick glance of little Eren, Armin, and Mikasa on top of a roof appears. The animation switches back to the previous scene as Eren stands between Armin and Mikasa. The three gaze up at the sky.
A flashback of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin in their childhood appears which quickly changes to Levi to his shoulder. An image of little Eren, Mikasa and Armin is shown which shortly changes to the three as recruits of the Scout Regiment.
Levi as a child leans against a wall while in the underground below the capital. He gets off the wall and wanders around the place. Young Kenny sits at a bar. Little Levi flips a knife. Kenny touches his hat while at the bar.
Erwin gazes through a window and sees and image of himself as a child and another man talking to each other.
Young Historia sits in front of an unknown woman.
An image of Eren appears on the blue sky while a translucent hand appears in front of him. The image switches to Mikasa and the ghostly hand tries to reach for her. As Armin appears on the sky, the hand starts bleeding, then clenches its fist. A small drop of water lands on top of a body of water and ripples the water underneath as an image of Grisha and Carla appear caressing Eren as an infant. The animation switches to Eren's old home.
Eren stands below the sky as little Eren bumps into him. Little Eren looks at his older self then runs with little Armin and Mikasa behind him. Eren gazes at something with a stern expression on his face. The four Warriors as children wander through the woods. Historia as a child leans on a fence. Little Eren and his friends are running while on the sky. Little Erwin and Levi walk pass each other. A sandal drops onto the ground. The key to Eren's house's basement dangles.
The song concludes with an image of little Eren, Armin, and Mikasa together.
