Reeves hears the news of Shiganshina's fall

On the day of the fall of Shiganshina District, Dimo Reeves is seen at Trost discussing the news about the breach, and wondering if Wall Maria has fallen or only the outer district was lost. He and his companions are then approached by a Garrison member who informs them that the inner gate was destroyed too and thus Wall Maria has effectively fallen.[1]

The Struggle for Trost arc

During the evacuation of Trost District, Reeves blocks the gate into the Wall's interior with his cart, which is too overloaded to go through, and he refuses to abandon his merchandise. He says that his goods are worth more than the lives of the evacuating citizens or the money they will ever make. A Titan charges towards the crowd of people only to be brought down by Mikasa Ackermann. Once she sees what the delay in the evacuation is, she threatens to kill Reeves so that the gate can be used by escaping civilians. Seeing that she is serious, he backs down.[2]

The Uprising arc

The Reeves Company is pressured by the Military Police Regiment into kidnapping Eren and Historia, but Levi Ackermann is able to see that Dimo Reeves actually cares about the people of Trost. He convinces him to switch sides and make a deal with the Scout Regiment. However, Kenny Ackermann saw the deception and murders Dimo for his betrayal while barring Flegel who is hiding.[3]

Hange Zoë finds and persuades a terrified Flegel to continue helping the Scout Regiment, and together they trick the Military Police into publicly confessing that they were the ones who killed Dimo. After being incapacitated, a policeman shouts at the crowd, threatening them and claiming that the news of the incident will not spread for more than three days, but is stopped by Flegel, who sits on his head. He vows to protect Trost and announces himself as the new boss of the Reeves Company, much to the happiness of the citizens.[4]

The day the Scout Regiment departs to reclaim Wall Maria, a soldier reveals the meat they ate the previous night came from the Reeves Company, which is how Flegel and the other citizens of Trost knew to see them off.[5]
