Spoof! Titan Elementary (寸劇!巨人小学校 Sungeki! Kyojin Shōgakkō?) is the 12th chapter of the 2nd volume and the 39th chapter overall of the Spoof on Titan manga, written and illustrated by hounori.
Overview
In an alternate universe, Levi teaches an elementary class full of the Cadets.
Summary
Before class begins, Jean asks Eren if he was responsible for stowing a blackboard eraser in between the door. Cheekily, Eren asks him if he does not want to see Levi, their teacher, react to the prank he is about to pull. Connie becomes exhausted by Eren's antics and disclaims that he has nothing to do with the prank.
As the bells ring, the students take note of Levi's presence outside the classroom. When Levi opens the door, the blackboard eraser falls on his arm, dousing the sleeve of his suit with clouds of chalk and dust. Nonetheless, he begins class irksomely. Eren abruptly stands and confesses that he was the one behind the prank.
A few moments later, Levi instructs Connie to recite the answers to the homework aloud. However, Connie admits that he forgot to answer it and consequently gets reprimanded by Levi. Levi situates Connie's chair beside the teacher's desk and announces that he will be sitting there for the rest of the period. As Connie fearfully replies to his punishment, Petra, Gunther, Oluo, and Eld, a group of older students, become amazed by the scene, calling Connie's new seat the best in the house. Eld recalls how they used to pretend to forget the homework on purpose just to sit beside Levi's desk.
In the faculty room, Levi complains to Hange and Erwin, his fellow teachers, about the blackboard eraser stunt. He laments about the extra work of bringing his suit to the cleaners as Hange tries to console him about it. However, Erwin reminds them to refrain from interrupting Levi's story. While Hange is taken aback by his warning, Erwin says that Levi must be delighted about getting pranked as he had never been tricked before. Hange brightens up as Levi tells Erwin that the same applies to him as well.
Lunch time comes and the students discuss their food. Armin asks Levi for his orders and the latter strictly warns that he will not go easy on anyone who drops their stick of butter on the floor, as cleaning it would be difficult to do so. Afterward, he allows the class to eat their meals.
Outside the building, Rico, Mitabi, and Ian enthusiastically ask Hannes to play dodgeball with them. Hannes tells them that he has to work after school, but soon gives in to their request as they continually beg to play with him. As they run off to play dodgeball, Levi appears to have been watching them. Consequently, he tells Connie, Eren, and Armin to remember to wash their hands once they come back inside the building. The three boys respond eagerly.
While on cleaning duty, Reiner remarks that Levi is a little stern. Eren denies Reiner's allegations and says that, while Levi is generally tough on his students, he shows a kind and compassionate side of himself on occasion. Reiner questions Eren's unsound arguments, but the latter calls him a moron and begins to think of better examples of Levi's empathetic attitude toward his students. Unfortunately, Eren fails to properly think of one.
As the school day ends, Levi's students spot him on the street. Eren asks him if he is walking home alone, and he and Jean request that he walks with them. Levi claims that safety is a must and agrees to their behest. With Levi leading the group, he sternly instructs his students to properly stay in one straight line as a couple of onlookers watch them march their way home.
