-Gender-
I thought Marlowe Freudenberg was a male. I never expected Marlowe is a female.Jennicious (talk) 04:43, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
- You should be more sceptical! Some random Annon changing the gender to female without showing any source as proof, or at least a good reason for the change, is obviously not credible. This was mere vandalism. NeoSuperior (talk) 05:29, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
Name
Okay, so apparently Kodansha has updated their translations, and changed Marlowe's name to "Marlowe Freudenberg". Should we rename Marlowe's page again to the more current translation?--Neetaku (talk) 01:33, October 3, 2016 (UTC)
- I think a name change on the wiki would be best if manageable, since the Colossal Edition volumes are in a way the most superior translations short of the Japanese raws.
- I recall a long while back there was a trivia piece explaining the official manga name change from "Sand" to "Freudenberg" with the Japanese Volume 15 release, but Kodansha's translation still used "Sand" so I figured the trivia was wrong. But this suggests otherwise, which has me confused as to what Kodansha's volume production process is. --GodKingReiss (talk) 02:21, October 3, 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was wondering about that too. In fact, I've been keeping my eye on newer releases of Volume 15 in English to see if Marlowe's name was ever changed. It's funny that the Colossal Editions have been updating some of their translations, because I remember glancing through the first Colossal Edition volume and seeing that Carla's name was still spelled "Kalura". :/
