Is Eren technically not also a member of this squad? Should he be included in the info-box under current members? Zoeyua (talk) 12:36, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm yeah, that's debatable, same for Historia. I'd also be up to debate whether Eren could be considered a member of the original squad as well. Thoughts?  Miskos3 Talk  13:35, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

... not sure about that. Eren was placed under the watch of Levi, but it was not said outright in manga/anime that he's also a squad member - even if he's part of the survey corps, since Levi did accept that unofficial, just before the trial. So, maybe now he is, like all other remaining 104th Graduation Class Top 10-members? The last panels of chapter 51 did show him with them at the safe house. Or should we wait until chapter 52 to be really sure? Zoeyua (talk) 13:53, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

Eren referred to Levi as a Squad (Team) Leader when under the watch of the previous Levi Squad. The same case happened in the last chapter, I think it's safe to assume he was and is part of the squad.  Miskos3 Talk  14:02, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, so it's alright to include Eren and Historia. Thank you for your time :) Zoeyua (talk) 14:15, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

I think its safe to assume that Eren pre-mini timeskip and post-mini timeskip. As for Historia, I think she should get the same treatment as Eren, current member of SOS (Special Ops Squad).   XGlass   ☣   Reflection   14:16, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

What about Connie? He is also a top 10-graduatee, but I didn't see him with the other new members of SOS. Even if Levi said clearly his squad was formed out of the remaining ones. 14:27, November 9, 2013 (UTC)Zoeyua (talk)

Eren mentioned that they are waiting for Connie and Levi's return so again I think it's safe to assume he is one of them  Miskos3 Talk  14:32, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

I guess I can agree with Eren but I'm not too wild about adding Historia  Umnei  Talk  14:55, November 17, 2013 (UTC)

I have never considered Eren to be part of the Squad to begin with. Levi formed the team to take care of a dangerous person (Eren), because he knew that they were the best people to take care of him in case he accidentally lost control. The Squad's purpose was both to protect Eren and/or kill him. Eren wasn't chosen at all.
Since Levi formed a new team, I think the same way. He purposedly picked Eren's friends to ensure he would find himself desperate and control Titans. Again, I don't think he was chosen at all. He just happened to have that hidden ability, and the same thing could be said about Historia. They just happened to find the person related to the Wall Cult that is able to speak about the secrets of the Walls, but she wasn't chosen to form a Squad. It was the Squad which was chosen to protect her. That's why not Eren nor Historia can be considered part of the team, since they are the ones to be protected by the team itself. hfc2X 18:40, November 17, 2013 (UTC)

In my opinion the fact that Eren calls him a Squad Leader means that he is part of the team, regardless of him being the reason for the team's (re)creation.  Miskos3 Talk  17:26, November 19, 2013 (UTC)

If your saying that he belongs to the team than how come this sentence said "The Special Operations Squad is a team of elite soldiers handpicked by Levi to take care of Eren Yeager. It formerly consisted of Eld JinnGunther SchultzOluo Bozado and Petra Ral." Please explain.

I still don't think Eren should count because he the person that needs to be protected just like Historia and Mikasa, Jean, Armin, Sasha and Connie doing right now  while before it was Petra, Eld, Gunter, and Oluo protecting Eren only not Historia. Jennicious (talk) 19:42, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

Doesn't mean the person to be protected isn't part of the team. For the xth time, Eren calls Levi 'Squad Leader'.  Miskos3 Talk  20:01, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

I am still not convince about it.Jennicious (talk) 20:13, December 16, 2013 (UTC)
