This article is about a member of the Survey Corps. For the 104th Training Corps member, see Thomas Wagner.
Thomas (トーマ Tōma?) is a member of the Survey Corps. He brought the news of Wall Rose's breach to Commander Erwin.[2]
Appearance
Thomas is a tall, well-built man. He has dark semi-long hair parted in the middle with a dark goatee and mustache. He is commonly seen wearing the uniform of the Survey Corps with a white v-neck underneath.
Personality
Thomas is a trusted soldier, as he stood alongside other superiors such as Mike Zacharias and Nanaba. He is shown to be very strong, both physically and mentally as he pushed himself to travel on horseback for several hours in order to get the news of Wall Rose's breach to Commander Erwin as fast as possible, only taking a short minute long break in Ehrmich District to tell the citizens of the Titan invasion.[3]
Story
The Female Titan arc
Thomas is first seen when he barges into the hearing of Erwin Smith on the charges of the damage to Stohess District by Annie Leonhart, the Female Titan. He charges in and, much to everyone's shock, alerts them of Wall Rose's breach. It is shown that earlier he is seen alongside Mike Zacharias and Nanaba while they monitor members of the 104th Training Corps
who are suspected to be accomplices of Annie. As they discuss the possibility of an ally to Annie being among them, Mike smells several Titans coming from the south side of Wall Rose and he quickly tells Thomas to alert the commanders.[2]
Clash of the Titans arc
Soon after, Thomas is seen entering Ehrmich District on horseback, bringing a warning of the incoming Titans and telling the citizens to evacuate. He gets off his horse and quickly drinks a bottle of water, telling the people that the Titans appeared in the south west and that they had seen a group of about ten of them. After his explanation and drink, he gets up and asks them for the fastest horse they have. The people question his quick leave and he explains that he must get the news to Erwin.[3]
