    • I've never found an episode where most of it is just talking that interesting.

SPOILER: That flashback with Marco's early o_O and shorter than the manga, but it goes quite well with the infos about Reiner's illness. Also, the trailer shows Ymir as a kid. With the opening that makes 3 very early elements.

    • They may end up revealing SPOILER: the entire flash back later on. Hopefully they keep Ymir's past as vague as possible so nonmanga readers won't be able to figure out anything

SPOILER: Which makes me wonder about its adaptation fate which might be for season 4 - or worse, 5.

    • Random question but given next episode is Children and there are 3 chapters left of the current arc are they gonna combine chapters 48 and 49 for episodes 11 then chapter 50 for episode 12 or is there gonna be 13 episodes for the season.

Just looking how it's going if they were to do a chapter per episode then it would theoretically end on chapter 49 if I'm right which wouldn't make sense.

        Loading editor
    • SPOILER: It was cool they showed the Marco falshback but I wish they'd have shown all of it, maybe we'll see the rest of it in season 4 which is where it was meant to show up.

        Loading editor
    • Like everyone else, SPOILER: I was really shocked that they showed Marco's death, even if it wasn't the whole scene.  It makes sense that Reiner would flash back to it from his POV, and it's not like it impacts the story at all since Eren and company still don't know the circumstances behind Marco's death even in the manga, but considering how late in the manga that flashback happens it was certainly unexpected.  I know there wasn't quite enough meat in the chapter to do a full episode, so I expected some padding of some kind.  But of all things to choose as padding... O_o

I also thought the extensive screen shaking while Reiner and Eren were yelling at each other was a big much. :\  It would have been fine for a few frames, but they had quite a bit of back and forth.

        Loading editor
    • I finally got my answer to the question I asked from the previous episode. SPOILER: Eren threatening to make sure Reiner and Bertolt suffer as gruesomely as possible. Probably one of the best scenes in the episode.

Maybe that's why they made us wait just for that one scene.

    • Also you people are talking about a potential season 3,4 and 5 It will be another very long wait for you guys and the Manga will finish in either 2018 or 2019. Plus the budget problems the studio has is just very surprising to me that they only made 12 episodes (possibly because they blew the budget on Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress which is just a crude copy of Attack on Titan) Also can somebody PLEASE tell them to stop making less popular anime and make the Anime that will actually SURPASS the budget. Common sense for the studio gets a -8 for that crap. Ok I got my frustration out anyways I absolutely love the soundtrack that Sawano writes it fits just like a right puzzle piece.
