Overview

Connie starts a discussion with everyone on what they would do if the Titans disappeared.

Summary

In the mess hall, Connie asks Eren what he would do if they managed to kill all of the Titans. Eren proudly states that he would explore outside of the walls. Eren proceeds to tell an awed Connie about the biomes which Armin had spoken to Eren about. Jean interrupts Eren, telling Connie not to trust Eren. Eren looks to Armin for help, but Armin tells Eren not to be stupid and believe fairytales, to Eren's shock and Jean's delight. Later, Armin strongly reprimands Eren on mentioning the outside world, as the information is forbidden.

Jean proclaims that if Titans disappeared, he would get a girlfriend, whose description matches Mikasa's, and live a successful life. Missing Jean's allusion, Eren asks Mikasa what she would do. Mikasa asserts that she would want to farm with Eren. Angered, Eren insists that he is going to explore the world. Hearing this, Mikasa insists on accompanying Eren, disappointing Jean. Jean informs the others that he is planning on exploring the world as well.

Connie asks Sasha, and Sasha says that she would quit the military. She mentions her love for hunting and her father would prompt her to return home to her family. Sasha's realistic answer bores Eren and confuses Connie. Reacting, Sasha declares that she would eat all of the food in the world. This causes Eren and Connie to agree that Sasha's plan is accurate.

Krista discloses that she would focus on helping those in need, bringing the attention of Armin, Jean, and Reiner onto her. While Armin considers Krista to be an angel, the other two dream of marrying her. Ymir grabs onto Krista and responds that she plans on being Krista's wife, embarrassing Krista. Armin, Jean, and Reiner disagree, believing that Ymir would be the husband in the relationship.

Bertolt asks Annie what she would do if Titans disappeared. Annie replies that she would think about it when it happens, asking Bertolt what he would do. Anxious, Bertolt suggests that he would want to move back to the fields. Playing along, Annie says it sounds nice. Reiner interrupts their discussion to say that he might want to explore the world with Eren. Bertolt agrees with Reiner's plan, confusing Annie.

Hange tells Erwin that everyone is discussing their plans for a Titan-free future, and asks Erwin what he would do. Erwin expresses that he would resign as commander and become a teacher. Hange likes Erwin's plan and mentions wanting to try it as well. Hange goes on to describe teaching children about research and experiments. Erwin concurs that Hange's plan sounds nice. Hange then declares that the children would learn how to experiment on Titans, prompting Erwin to point out that this future is based on the extinction of all Titans.

Later, Eren recalls the earlier discussion to Levi. Levi discloses that even if Titans disappeared, the mission of the Survey Corps would be far from over. Levi says that they would be tasked with mapping the outside world, highlighting the organization's name. Eren concedes, then proceeds to tell the Cadets about their future plans, much to Levi's disappointment. Jean announces that he would be surveying the outside world alongside Eren, while watching Mikasa. Seeing the look on Jean's face, Eren mistakes it for being focused on himself rather than Mikasa who is standing behind him. Irritated, Eren yells at Jean to stop creeping him out.
