Appearance
Waltz is a man of average height and build, with short blond hair. He is only ever seen wearing the standard Military Police uniform.
Story
Eve of the Counterattack arc
At the place of the incoming trial of Eren Jaeger, Waltz stands with the chief of Military Police, Nile Dawk. Nile remarks on how the commoners are a rash lot for thinking of Eren as a savior. Waltz then says that he fears it might trigger a revolt against the central powers, and Nile states not if they dispose of Eren first.
Waltz and Nile salute Premier Zachary
Waltz and the rest of the soldiers then salute the head of all three Military branches, Premier Dhalis Zachary, who arrives to the location of the trial. Waltz accompanies Nile Dawk during Eren's trial. When Eren attempts to argue on his own behalf, Waltz prepares to execute him on Nile's order, only to be interrupted by Levi, who begins savagely beating Eren.[1]
Assault on Stohess arc
After the Scout Regiment is forced to hand Eren over to the Military Police due to their failure during the 57th Exterior Scouting Mission, Waltz is one of the soldiers tasked with guarding Eren while he is being transported. When two Titans suddenly appear inside Stohess, Waltz attempts to stop his captive from exiting his carriage only to realize that he is a decoy.[2]
